Handy Tips

1. Pre-soak: soak cubes in pH-adjusted water (around 5.5) before use to neutralise alkalinity.
2. Moisture: keep cubes damp, not waterlogged - rockwool holds water well and roots need oxygen too.
3. Seed depth: place seeds in the pre-formed hole and lightly pinch the top closed.
4. Transplanting: move seedlings cube-and-all to avoid disturbing fragile roots.
5. Handling: wear gloves and avoid breathing loose fibres when separating cubes.
6. Hydroponics: cubes slot directly into net pots and grow trays for clean, soil-free growing.
