Waste Pad Replacement & Counter Reset Services

We offer professional waste ink pad replacement and counter reset services for supported Epson and Canon printers. These services are essential when a printer reaches its internal waste ink limit and displays a service or maintenance error.

What You Need to Know

Waste ink pads trap excess ink during cleaning cycles. Over time, these pads reach a predefined limit set by the manufacturer.

Replacing the waste pad alone is not always sufficient to clear the error.

Epson Printer Notes

Some Epson models require an in‑store reset

even after a new waste pad has been installed.

This is commonly due to:

The waste pad not having a reset chip, or the printer not being able to detect or read the new pad

In these cases, the printer’s internal waste ink counter must be reset manually using approved service procedures.
