Handy Tips for Using the 400-Point Breadboard:
The breadboard is divided into two halves (A–E and F–J). Each row of 5 holes is internally connected horizontally, but the two halves are not connected to each other across the centre gap — this gap is designed to straddle DIP ICs.
The two power rails (red = positive, blue = negative) run vertically along each side of the board. These are internally connected along their full length and are used to distribute your supply voltage and ground to your circuit.
This 400-point board is ideal for small to medium circuits. If your project needs more space, multiple breadboards can be snapped together side-by-side using the interlocking tabs built into the casing.
Always insert and remove components gently and straight — forcing angled components into the holes can damage or loosen the internal metal contacts over time, causing unreliable connections.
This breadboard does not support surface-mount (SMD) components. It is designed for through-hole components with standard 2.54mm pitch leads (e.g., resistors, LEDs, ICs, capacitors, jumper wires).
